My name is Michelle Gong, and I am a long time resident of Beijing. I am a trained, licensed, independent tour guide in the city of Beijing and also offer tours to Xian to visit the terra cotta army.

To make your arrival as easy as possible I can arrange for airport greetings and transfers to local hotels as well as arrange for your hassle free departure fromBeijing.

I like people to see the realChinaandBeijing, so I try to arrange tours that give you the opportunity to see locals and not just other tourists.

I do not take commissions from vendors, so I do not deliver you to factories for extended mandatory shopping.  If you wish shopping assistance I will try to get you the best buys possible.

In addition to guiding personalized tours and translating I can also arrange for Tai chi instruction, traditional massage, acupuncture, and other experiences.

My rate is 70rmb per hour for 1 and 2 people,500per day, or 80rmb per hour for 3 or 4 people. Work as an assistant, 700rmb per day.
My email address is michelle_gong7717@hotmail.com, or you can call or text 133 6616 6844 for more information or tour quotes.

My registered company is CITS sports, and I will charge you after finish tour, so you don’t need to worry about anything. I am in the middle of thirty, a 14years old boy’s mom, have traveled abroad many times, love different cultures and love kids.

Beijing, China Tours With Your Personal Guide

VERY IMPORTANT: Most tour guides in China must supplement their income by taking guests to sales outlets offering kickbacks to the guide.  My fees are slightly higher than many other guides, however, I do not include overpriced factories or other sales sites in my tours.  I want you to see the real China, and if you do decide to make purchases, my job is to see you get the best value for the best price.

My rate is 70rmb per hour for 1and two people,80rmb per hour for 3 or 4 people.

Here suggestions about fixed tours, if you don’t have idea where you are going.

Recommend:  One day comfortable to Mutianyu Great Wall

The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall was opened tourists on May1, 1986. Located 73km fromBeijingproper, it joins theJuyongPassin the weast and Bubeikou in the east. This well-preserved section was built about 1400 years ago and was later reconstructed during the Ming Dynasty.

Access to this area is not as easy as the Ba Da Ling section, so there are fewer tourists visiting this site.

Once at the site access is easier since it can be reached by cable car.  Return to lower levels can be done by a toboggan ride or by use of the cable car.

Suggested day plan:

Pick up at your hotel, go directly to the Great Wall without being delivered to shopping sites, take a cable car to the Wall, visit the wall and watch towers for a bout 2 hours, then chose cable car or toboggan for the return to lower levels.  Lunch will be at a farm style restaurant in a typical small town at the foot of the Great Wall. On the way back to the city, you can look around  the Olympics venues or the famous798 Art Center street.

One person 1400rmb

Two people 1800rmb

Including, a nice car, English speaking tour guide, a nice lunch, all entrances, cable car or toboggan fees.  Please remember, you will be accompanied by an English speaking guide the entire trip and you will not be delivered to high pressure sales outlets.  If you do wish to shop, my job will be to get you the best prices and quality I can, not to make money on commissions.  My fees may be a little higher than most other guides, however, you will more than make that up by not having the inconvenience of wasted time in pressure sales outlets.

Tai chi or Tai Qi Quan Lessons

Visitors or residents ofBeijingmay also be interested in learning more about Tai chi, the traditional martial arts/meditation exercise.  I have studied this exercise for many years and am a certified coach.  Tai chi can help people by increasing flexibility, providing low stress exercise and inducing mental calmness.

I offer beginning and continuing lessons in the 24 Yang style at 80Yuan RMB per lesson for one person,150rmb per  lesson for two people, in Ritan park.
